Oklahoma High School Basketball - Caney ripped by Stuart
January 30, 2024: Caney, OK 74533 The Stuart Hornets basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Caney Cougars to 45 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiowa for a Pittsburg Eight contest on Thursday, February 1. Stuart will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 81-43 league win over Canadian (Canadian, OK). The Cowboys record now stands at 15-8.
The Cougars (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, OK). The Wildcats enter the Big 5 contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Coleman was routed by Tupelo (Tupelo, OK), 90-42, in a non-league contest.
