The Pender Pendragons football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays to 26 in the Pendragons league victory on Friday.
The Pendragons now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bancroft-Rosalie for a D1 District 4 (8 Man) battle on Thursday, September 28. Pender will face a Panthers squad coming off a 60-30 league loss to Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
Coming up next, the Bluejays face the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE) in a D1 District 4 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 29. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 76-27 league loss to Stanton (Stanton, NE).
