In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) basketball squad edged the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), by a margin of 69-66.

The Raiders (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Blazer was nipped by Cooper (Union, KY), 64-47, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Boyd County moves to 9-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Thursday, December 28. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 10-3. Cooper won 64-47 in their recent non-league match against Blazer (Ashland, KY)
