Texas High School Basketball - Brewer routs Irving
December 2, 2011: Fort Worth, TX 76108 In Friday's non-league outing, the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), by a margin of 55-21.
The Bears (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Southwest Christian was trounced by Itasca (Itasca, TX), 26-25, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grapevine for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, December 6. Irving will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 45-26 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
