Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA), 9-5 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benicia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Las Lomas will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Acalanes falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Dons host Albany (Albany, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
