Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH), 44-36 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monroeville improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mapleton (Ashland, OH) to battle the Mounties in a Firelands test on Friday, October 6. The Mounties come into the test with a record of 4-3. Mapleton won 37-6 in their recent league test against South Central (Greenwich, OH)

With the loss, Western Reserve drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to South Central (Greenwich, OH) to battle the Trojans in a Firelands test on Friday, October 6. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-6. South Central lost 37-6 in their recent league test against Mapleton (Ashland, OH)
