The Pius X Thunderbolts basketball team scored 43 points and held the host North Platte Bulldogs to 42 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Omaha South for a A District TBD contest on Tuesday, December 6. Pius X will battle a Packers team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Packers record now stands at 0-2.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The SkyHawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Skutt Catholic nudged Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE), 52-43, in a league contest.
