Connecticut High School Basketball - University tops Academy of Aerospace and Engineering
January 14, 2022: Windsor, CT 06106 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the University Hawks (Hartford, CT) and the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), saw University's basketball squad knock off Academy of Aerospace and Engineering by a tally of 75-66.
With the victory, University improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to play the Ravens in a Capitol Region challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Academy of Science and Innovation lost 63-32 in their recent league challenge against Achievement First (Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Jets play the Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 58-14 league loss to Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT).
