California High School Baseball - South Pointe holds off San Pasqual Valley

South Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host San Pasqual Valley Warriors (Winterhaven, CA), 4-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Pointe upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The travel to Santiam (Mill City, OR) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Friday, March 26. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 5-2. Santiam won 25-1 in their recent non-league test against Crow (Eugene, OR)

With the defeat, San Pasqual Valley falls to 8-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Flames in a 1A West Division 1 test on Thursday, April 8. The Flames come into the test with a record of 8-1. Valley Lutheran won 20-4 in their recent league test against Orme (Mayer, AZ)
