Missouri High School Soccer - Sacred Heart nudges Helias
October 16, 2023: Sedalia, MO 65301 Sacred Heart Gremlins (Sedalia, MO) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gremlins face the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 20. Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Roosters/Chicks enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 5-0 league loss to Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO).
The Crusaders now have a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Hickman for a Freelance challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Helias will face a Kewpies team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Kewpies record now stands at 14-6.
