Texas High School Volleyball - Lone Star tips Liberty
September 5, 2023: Frisco, TX 75035 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the host Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX), saw Lone Star's volleyball squad nip Liberty by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Lone Star upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rangers host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to play the Wolverines in a bout on Friday, September 15. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 8-0.
The Redhawks now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a bout on Tuesday, September 12. Liberty will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Williams (Plano, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-0.
