California High School Lacrosse - Dougherty Valley trounced by California
March 5, 2010: San Ramon, CA 94583 California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse team top the visiting Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Drake for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 13. California will meet a Pirates team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 9. Dougherty Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA).
