Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Rams host North Surry (Mt. Airy, NC) to battle the Greyhounds in a Mountain Valley test on Friday, April 24. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 1-9. North Surry lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
