September 29, 2023: Waukee, IA 50263 In Friday's league game, the Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA) football team smashed the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA), by a final score of 58-0.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams come into the 5A Group 2 game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Southeast Polk overwhelmed Johnston (Johnston, IA), 38-35, in a league game.
The Railsplitters now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City East for a 5A Group 2 game on Thursday, October 5. Lincoln will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 48-27 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
