Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots face the Indian Springs (Pelham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 9. Pike Road will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL).

The Bulldogs now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tallassee for a 4A-5A Area 5 challenge on Monday, April 11. Marbury will face a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
