Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE), 46-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fairbury upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Jeffs host Centennial (Utica, NE) to play the Broncos in a C2 District 4 bout on Tuesday, December 11. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Centennial won 47-18 in their recent non-league bout against Tri County (DeWitt, NE)

Next up, the Titans play the Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE) in a C2 District 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Thayer Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 67-37 league win over David City (David City, NE).
