Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) and the visiting Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH), saw Edgewood's basketball squad hold off Grand Valley by a tally of 47-44.

With the victory, Edgewood improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Harvey (Painesville, OH) to play the Red Raiders in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
