Texas High School Basketball - Memorial succumbs to Creekview
December 30, 2008: Houston, TX 77024 The Creekview Mustangs topped the host Memorial Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 54-46 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 game, on Friday, January 2. Creekview will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 74-71 non-league loss to De Soto (De Soto, TX).
With the defeat, Memorial moves to 11-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX) to face the Crusaders in a 5A Region III District 18 game on Friday, January 2. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 19-0. Strake Jesuit won 64-47 in their recent non-league contest against Westside (Houston, TX)
