Louisiana High School Basketball - Plainview fells Welsh
November 29, 2023: Welsh, LA 70591 Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA), 56-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Hornets host Vinton (Vinton, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Vinton won 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against Midland (Midland, LA)
Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Welsh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake, LA).
