Massachusetts High School Basketball - Mansfield holds off Franklin
February 11, 2022: Franklin, MA 02038 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) and the host Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA), saw Mansfield's basketball squad hold off Franklin by a tally of 56-55.
With the victory, Mansfield improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Taunton (Taunton, MA) to confront the Tigers in a Hockomock challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.
The Panthers (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Milford (Milford, MA). The Hawks come into the Hockomock battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, Milford edged Ludlow (Ludlow, MA), 78-21, in a non-league battle.
