North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwest Guilford gets by North Davidson
April 1, 2023: Lexington, NC 27295 Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 6-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Whirlies in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Whirlies come into the test with a record of 7-4. Grimsley won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)
With the defeat, North Davidson falls to 4-7 on the season. The Black knights host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to battle the Dragons in a non-league test on Monday, April 3. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 3-3. West Davidson lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)
