April 27, 2019: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) and the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), saw Morton's soccer squad knock off Prospect by a count of 3-1.
The Potters now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, April 30. Morton will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Prospect drops to 10-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to meet the Bison in a Mid-Suburban - East test on Monday, April 29. The Bison come into the test with a record of 4-5. Buffalo Grove won 5-0 in their recent league test against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL)
