The Holmes Huskies softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Needville Bluejays to 2 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Holmes moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Huskies host Stevens (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Falcons in a 6A Region IV District 29 battle on Wednesday, February 22.
