August 24, 2023: Dallas, TX 75238 The Lake Highlands Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melissa for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Lake Highlands will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Anna (Anna, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-4.
The Yellowjackets (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Brewer gained a win over Sam Houston (Arlington, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
