The United South Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Weslaco Panthers to 51 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hays for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 11. United South will battle a Hawks team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
