Mississippi High School Softball - St. Patrick bounces Stone
April 8, 2011: Biloxi, MS 39532 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) and the visiting Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), saw St. Patrick's softball squad achieve victory over Stone by a count of 14-0.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sumrall for a 3A Region 8 match on Thursday, April 14. St. Patrick will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Collins (Collins, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Stone falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to face the Blue Devils in a 5A Region 6 match on Tuesday, April 12. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 4-14. Pearl River Central lost 10-3 in their recent league match against Picayune (Picayune, MS)
