The Hackettstown (NJ) varsity football team won Friday's home conference game against Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ) in overtime by a score of 7-3.

The Sussex County Tech football squad scored 10 points and held the host Hackettstown Tigers to 7 in the league triumph on Friday.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, NJ). The Braves come into the North Jersey Super - National Red game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Newton got by Vernon (Vernon, NJ), 40-7, in a league game.

Hackettstown will battle a Cougars team coming off a 33-0 league win over High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
