In Friday's non-league match, the host Western Reserve Blue Devils football squad scored a good 41-20 victory over the Liberty Leopards.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 26. Western Reserve will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH).

The Leopards (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Girard (Girard, OH). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Girard ran past Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH), 42-24, in a non-league match.
