The Fort Dodge Dodgers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Spencer Tigers to 34 in the Dodgers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Dodgers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux City East for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Fort Dodge will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Valley (West Des Moines, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 5-3.

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Mohawks enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Mason City ran past West Fork (Sheffield, IA), 53-33, in a non-league contest.
