Ohio High School Basketball - McDonald can't hold off Waterloo

The Waterloo Vikings basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host McDonald Blue Devils to 33 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Tuesday, February 6. Waterloo will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-39 league win over Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.

The Blue Devils (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Jackson-Milton was nudged by Lowellville (Lowellville, OH), 68-55, in a league contest.
