August 22, 2023: Kirtland, OH 44094 West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Chagrin Falls Tigers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. West Geauga will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
The Hornets now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Catholic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Kirtland will confront a Cougars team coming off a 1-1 non-league Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 0-0.
