December 20, 2008: Grand Rapids, MN 55744 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN), saw Wayzata's basketball squad overcome Grand Rapids by a count of 68-58.
With the victory, Wayzata upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Chaska (Chaska, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 23. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Chaska won 71-59 in their recent league challenge against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)
Next up, the Thunderhawks play the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, December 23. Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 59-46 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
