The Lancers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Eugene for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 15. Churchill will battle a Axemen squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Axemen record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, South Albany moves to 0-1 on the year. The Rebels host Woodburn (Woodburn, OR) to battle the Bulldogs in a 5A Mid-Willamette contest on Tuesday, September 15. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
