In Tuesday's league battle, the host Bishop Lynch Friars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Ursuline Academy Bears.

The Friars (24-8) will now prepare for their battle against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 6A District 1 battle with a 29-1 record. In their last battle, Prestonwood Christian achieved victory over Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
