September 21, 2009: Lawson, MO 64062 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Lawson Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Richmond Spartans.
The Cardinals (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Orrick achieved victory over Santa Fe (Alma, MO), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East battle, on Tuesday, September 22. Richmond will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Minutemen come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Orrick (Orrick, MO).
