Indiana High School Basketball - Plymouth tipped by Washington
December 9, 2009: South Bend, IN 46619 The Washington Panthers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Plymouth Pilgrims to 39 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mishawaka for a Northern Indiana contest on Friday, December 11. Washington will confront a Cavemen team coming off a 50-31 non-league win over New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cavemen record now stands at 4-2.
The Pilgrims (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN). The Tigers enter the Northern Lakes contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Warsaw nudged Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
