The Axtell Longhorns topped the visiting Meyer Ravens basketball team by a final score of 62-51 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs (Waco, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 9. Axtell will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 78-31 non-league loss to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX).

With the defeat, Meyer moves to 2-11 on the season. The Ravens travel to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9.
