New Mexico High School Basketball - Zuni ripped by Hope Christian
January 17, 2013: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Zuni Thunderbirds to 34 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rehoboth Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 18. Hope Christian will confront a Lynx team coming off a 68-43 non-league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Lynx record now stands at 7-5.
The Thunderbirds (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Socorro was routed by Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 81-36, in a non-league contest.
