Iowa High School Basketball - Postville can't hold off Nashua-Plainfield
December 14, 2021: Nashua, IA 50658 The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Postville Pirates to 37 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Osage for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. Nashua-Plainfield will battle a Green Devils team coming off a 66-34 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 4-2.
The Pirates (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Upper Iowa contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, MFL MarMac edged Kee (Lansing, IA), 92-63, in a league contest.
