Connecticut High School Football - Cheshire prevails New Milford

September 9, 2022: Cheshire, CT 06410

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) and the visiting New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), observed Cheshire's football squad defeat New Milford by a count of 35-7.

The Rams now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hillhouse for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Cheshire will encounter a Academics squad coming off a 27-18 non-league loss to Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Academics record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Green Wave encounter the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a South-West contest, on Friday, September 16. New Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 27-7 non-league win over ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] (Danbury, CT).
