The Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Tuscarora Titans to 44 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown for a MVAL - Piedmont contest on Tuesday, January 31. Governor Thomas Johnson will meet a Knights team coming off a 54-47 league loss to Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.

The Titans (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks enter the MVAL - Piedmont contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Urbana ran past Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 57-54, in a league contest.
