Delaware High School Basketball - Appoquinimink holds off St. Georges Tech
February 6, 2024: Middletown, DE 19709 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) and the host St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE), saw Appoquinimink's basketball squad hold off St. Georges Tech by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Appoquinimink improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Cape Henlopen won 56-13 in their recent league challenge against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE)
Next up, the Hawks confront the ASPIRA Charter Wolves (Newark, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. St. Georges Tech will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 63-24 non-league loss to Concord (Wilmington, DE).
