Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), 12-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Uvalde for a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. Del Rio will clash with a Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) record now stands at 7-9.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Anderson will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Roma (Roma, TX).
