North Carolina High School Football - New Bern trounces Knightdale

September 8, 2023: Knightdale, NC 27545

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting New Bern Bears football squad scored a big 49-0 victory over the Knightdale Knights.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a 3A/4A Big Carolina match, on Friday, September 15. New Bern will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 20-13 non-league win over West Craven (Vanceboro, NC).

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Enloe was crushed by South Garner (Garner, NC), 44-12, in a non-league bout.
