The La Cueva Bears routed the visiting Sandia Matadors softball squad by a final score of 11-5 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Bears (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Eldorado held off Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 6-1, in a league battle.

The Matadors now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Manzano for a battle on Saturday, April 19. Sandia will confront a Monarchs squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-8.
