The Jasper Vikings routed the visiting Opelika Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Golden Gophers go into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Hueytown was routed by Pell City (Pell City, AL), 9-8, in a non-league battle.
