Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wawasee Warriors (Syracuse, IN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Churubusco for a Northeast Corner challenge on Tuesday, April 13. Fairfield will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Wawasee falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 13.
