Texas High School Basketball - Nazareth overwhelms Springlake-Earth
January 9, 2024: Nazareth, TX 79063 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) and the visiting Springlake-Earth Wolverines (Earth, TX), saw Nazareth's basketball squad wallop Springlake-Earth by a count of 70-23.
With the victory, Nazareth upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Swifts travel to Kress (Kress, TX) to play the Kangaroos in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Kress won 53-38 in their recent league challenge against Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Happy Cowboys (Happy, TX) in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Springlake-Earth will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 56-36 league win over Hart (Hart, TX).
