New York High School Football - West Islip triumphant over Smithtown West
September 24, 2021: West Islip, NY 11795 West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY), 41-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Islip improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Half Hollow Hills East (Dix Hills, NY) to battle the Thunderbirds in a Section 11 Division II test on Friday, October 1. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 2-1. Half Hollow Hills East won 48-20 in their recent league test against Connetquot (Bohemia, NY)
With the loss, Smithtown West drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The host Huntington (Huntington, NY) to battle the Blue Devils in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 2. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-2. Huntington lost 21-0 in their recent league test against Northport (Northport, NY)
