September 17, 2022: Birmingham, AL 35212 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) and the host Woodlawn Colonels (Birmingham, AL), saw Hewitt-Trussville's volleyball squad beat Woodlawn by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Hewitt-Trussville upgrades its record to 20-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Leeds (Leeds, AL) to play the Greenwave in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Greenwave go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Leeds lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pell City (Pell City, AL)
The Colonels now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. Woodlawn will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-13.
